My cousin was killed by Mat Rempits…

Alhamdulillah, I was granted by Allah the time to write this sad article. This article is about my cousin (Mohd. Shazwan bin Ishak) that was killed (innalillahi wa innahi raji’uun…) last week on 22nd August 2007 (if i was not mistaken).
The news about his death was in the papers, particularly on the front page of Harian Metro’s 22nd August edition. The title was "MAT REMPIT MENGAMUK". Despite what u guys read in the papers, the true version of the story was twisted by the reporters.
So, I’m here to tell u guys the true version of the story…
Here it goes,…my cousin was a good boy, he was 14 and in my opinion I saw a lot of future in him. After all, he was my cousin and Insya’ Allah maybe I will help him someday in his undertakings.
The night he was beaten to death, he went ngeteh with a couple of his friends at a place where he seldom went. It was actually a case of BEING AT THE WRONG TIME, AT THE WRONG PLACE and MISTAKENLY TOOK AS SOMEONE ELSE.
There was a gang war between 2 mat rempits gangs and one of the gangs were searching for a boy called ‘wan’ because he had made some trouble with them. My cousin was mistakenly took as that ‘wan’ hence the same calling name. He was parang-ed on the head and brutally beaten sampai nyawa2 ikan. His friend who manage to escape from the scene later came back searching for my cousin and brought him to Hospital Selayang. For yout info, the incident happened at Tmn Intan Baiduri and my cousin’s home is at Tmn Muda area Ampang KL.
My dad who went to see my cousin said he was in a very dying state. Even when my cousin was brought into the ICU, the doctors said he was in a very critical condition and no hope to live.
My cousin was at the ICU ward at about 4.00am and at 8.30am the mat rempit gang who beat my cousin came ‘amuk’ at the hospital to finish him off. The situation turned havoc and the police manage to came in time, shot a couple of shots in the air and arrested all the 14 mat rempits.
Later on, about after maghrib that day the doctor announced my cousin’s brain was dead and at about 11pm he was officially declared dead.
HMMMM….SEBENARNYE KITE BOLEH AMBIL BANYAK IKTIBAR DARI KISAH NI. MEMANG SEDIH BILE SAUDARE SEKELUARGE KITE MENINGGAL DUNIA, APE LAGI MATI DI BUNUH. TAPI AJAL MAUT ITU URUSAN ALLAH, KISAH CERITE INI HANYE LAH SEBAGAI SEBAB UTK SEPUPU AKU MATI. SEMUA NYA SUDAH TERTULIS DI LUH MAHFUZ…KALO KITE TAHU PERANAN KITE SEBAGAI HAMBE ALLAH, KITE WAJIB REDHA & SABAR…SEMUA INI QADA’ & QADAR DARI ALLAH. ADE HIKMAH YG LAGI BESAR DARI KEJADIAN INI.
SEDIH JUGAK DENGA MAT REMPIT YG BUAT KEJA2 NI. MELAYU PULAK TUH…DALAM MASE NEGARE KITE NAK SAMBUT 50 TAHUN MERDEKA INI RUPENYER KITE INI BELUM MERDEKA…MASIH DIKUASAI OLEH JAJAHAN PEMIKIRAN & PERLAKUAN NEGARE BARAT YG KUFUR DAN X BTUL…SEDIH ANAK BANGSE MELAYU JADI BEGINI.
BANYAK LAGI BENDE2 YG X BAGUS BERLAKU PD REMAJE BANGSE MELAYU. KENGKADANG TU MALU NAK MENGAKU MELAYU, TP DISEBABKAN ADE SEMANGAT DAN KESEDARAN UTK MEMBANTU SAUDARE SEISLAM, MAKE DITERUSKAN JUGE PERJUANGAN INI. MUNGKIN BYK ORANG KITE X SEDAR NIKMAT YG TELAH DIBERIKAN ALLAH…KALO MEREKA SEDAR APE YG ADE PD DIRI KITE INI SEMUA-NYA MILIK ALLAH DAN HANYA DIPINJAMKAN SEMENTARE SHJ MAKE INSYA’ ALLAH KITE AKAN JADI BANGSE YG LENGKAP ISLAM-NYA.
i dont judge people. im just a hamba Allah yg lemah, hina & selalu membuat kesalahan. only Allah can judge us, tp apabile kamu sudah melanggar hukum Allah, make terang2 lah kamu mencabar Allah! sedarkah siape diri kite ni….kalo Allah nak ambil nikmat yg Dia beri kpd kite tu sekelip mate shj lah…
mungkin remaje kite x sedar lagi, mungkin dr didikan agama yg x sempurna, mungkin dr sikap ibu bape yg kurang perhatin, mungkin juga dr ketidakseimbangan ekonomi di antara kaum yg kita hadapi sekarang…byk mungkin tp semua nya terpulang kpd diri kita sendiri. INGAT, ALLAH BERIKAN KAMU AQAL UTK BERFIKIR TENTANG KEJADIAN ALAM, ALLAH BERI HATI UTK KAMU MENGENALI-NYA DARI SUDUT YG TIDAK BOLEH DITERIMA AQAL IAITU IMAN.
my advice is kembali lah kepada Al-Quran & As-Sunnah.
last but not least, mari kite renungi maksud ayat 284-286 surah Al-Baqarah:
"Allah tidak membebani seseorang melainkan sesuai dgn kesanggupannya. Ia mendapat pahala (dari kebaikan) yg diusahakannya dan mendapat siksa (dari kejahatan) yg dikerjakannya. (Mereka berdoa):"Ya Tuhan kami, janganlah Engkau hukum kami jika kami lupa atau kami tersalah. Ya Tuhan kami, janganlah Engkau bebankan kpd kami beban yg berat sebagaimana Engkau bebankan kpd orang-orang yg sebelum kami. Ya Tuhan kami, janganlah Engkau pikulkan kpd kami apa yang kami tidak sanggup kami memilikinya. Beri maaaflah kami, ampunilah kami dan rahmatilah kami. Engkau Penolong kami, maka tolonglah kami (memerangi) terhadap kaum yang kafir"
Ya Allah, aku tidak layak untuk syurga-Mu,
tetapi aku tidak pula sanggup ke neraka-Mu,
-perjuangan wajib diteruskan-
wassalam.
